In 1964, cars manufacturing plant under brand “TOYOTA” was firstly built in Thailand. With response from customers, TOYOTA  expanded production capacity by setting up new plant in Samrong (1969), Gateway (1997), and Ban Pho (2007). Until 2010, TOYOTA had moved its production To Ban Pho, to combined volume production of TAW and Ban Pho plant, that caused temporarily suspended TAW operation during 2010 until 2012.

In 2012, TAW plant was re-opened in the name of TOYOTA AUTO WORKS, cooperated by TOYOTA AUTO BODY (JAPAN) and TOYOTA MOTOR THAILAND, producing Hiace Commuter which has gained the first place of Commercial Vehicle market in Thailand.

According to the company policy, product quality is our first priority, we aim to produce high quality car, keep product improvement, and deliver product on time in order to serve our customer’s needs, which guaranteed by ISO 9001:2015 and UN-R #34.

Furthermore, the company has established Safety & Environment policy which concern workplace safety of both employee and outside maker. We also aim to develop overall workplace environment and safety in order to create good environment workplace and improve work life quality, which guaranteed by ISO 14001:2015, TIS 18001:2011, and OHSAS 18001:2017.

For Human Resources Management Policy, we aim to improve and develop skills of our employees from in-house and outside training. With concern of employee’s and their family’s living, we provide appropriate welfare, which guaranteed by 6 years continuous Excellent Labor & Welfare Award.
